What we collect
For candidates this may include your name, contact details, work preferences, role history, skills summary, availability and material you choose to provide. For clients it may include business contact details, hiring context, engagement requirements and commercial correspondence.
We do not ask for highly sensitive identity material through the public website. Tax file numbers, bank details, police checks, clearance numbers and similar documents are handled only through an approved channel when they are genuinely required.
How we use it
- To respond to enquiries and assess whether Emba can assist.
- To understand candidate fit, availability and work preferences.
- To prepare shortlists, engagement material and operational records where there is a legitimate business purpose.
- To meet legal, accounting, record-keeping and contract obligations.
Candidate representation
Candidate dignity matters. Registration does not mean your details are shared beyond the roles you have agreed to. Emba reviews suitability first and does not represent you to a client without a reason to do so.
Storage and access
Business systems are limited to the tools Emba needs to operate: Microsoft 365, CRM, accounting, document storage and security/edge services. Access is kept to the people and automations that need it.
Automation boundaries
Automation helps with triage, reminders and ledger hygiene. External sends, submissions, invoices and pay runs stay behind a human approval gate.
Retention
Records are retained only as long as they remain useful for a business, legal, accounting or candidate relationship purpose. Old material is reviewed and reduced where practical.
Access and correction
You can ask Emba to correct, update or remove information where appropriate. Send privacy requests to hello@emba.au.
Security controls in practice
The public site uses transport encryption, security headers, Cloudflare Turnstile, rate limits and human review. Internal systems are monitored for drift. No public webpage should be treated as a channel for secrets or identity documents.
This page is a practical summary of how Emba intends to handle information. Formal legal settings and any regulated determination should be reviewed by Emba's legal adviser.
